There’s no replacement for displacement, something Kawasaki seems to have adopted having since revealed their Ninja 300. It seems that Kawasaki will be going ahead with producing a new mid-sized naked streetfighter, the 2013 Kawasaki Z800.
The Z800 would obviously be the replacement for the Z750 of 2007 (about time really) and although there’s not much information that can be had a the moment about power figures, with an 806cc 4-stroke 4-cylinder engine, there’s definitely going to be some power gains.
For the time being, Kawasaki isn’t saying anything about the Z800, except that more details will be revealed once it takes its bow in Cologne, Germany on 2nd October.
Hopefully, the Z800 will be a much welcomed model in our neck of the woods, since its larger Z1000 has had great amounts of rants and raves about its ride-ability, power-delivery and handsome good looks.
