Kimi Raikkonen’s New 2010 Look

Pictures showing the 2010 livery of Kimi Raikkonen‘s Citroen C4 WRC, and the Finn’s WRC race-suit, have been released by Red Bull.

In stark contrast to his Ferrari red ensemble of 2009, Raikkonen’s new colour scheme is predominantly blue.

His car features an all-blue bonnet, and blue pained panels on each side which extend to the middle of the rear-wheel arches. The car also sports a silver/grey roof and rear end – setting it apart from the white panels of the factory team cars.

With Red Bull a major backer of Raikkonen’s rally programme, it’s no surprise that the drinks firm’s branding features prominently. In addition to the charging bulls on the front doors and bonnet, the Red Bull name is spelt out across the leading edge of the bonnet, while two other Red Bull logos appear on the rear flanks.

Raikkonen and his co-driver Kaj Lindstrom will drive their C4 competitively for the first time on the Arctic Lapland Rally, which starts on 28 January.

If u follow the history of Race of Champions, a lot of the past winners were rally drivers. Last year's Race of Champions, Schumacher came in 2nd.

I agree with td.
F1 and Rally are like Apples and Oranges. U cannot compare them. The techniques for driving in Rally is completely different from F1.

In F1, the drivers are already familiar with the track and rewards the driver with the smoothest driving style.

In Rally, the driver dunno the track and have to go all out and drive like crazy (need big balls) and trust his navigator and it involves in throwing the car around corners.

it's totally wrong to said it's a stepdown..to me the best all around driver should be a rally driver..some pro driver also said the same thing

either way, F1 and WRC are two best thing in world of motorsport (beside D1 drift lol)

aha u guys are right, rally driver are more diversified than circuit driver in which rally driver are master all sort of terrain not like f1 which u hv all the aerodynamic to help u, and the only changes to track is if it's wet, and if there's heavy rain fall races will hv to be stop, unlike rally even if raining like hell or snows or anything the stages will go on except if under some circumstances.

And most of the rally driver who tried f1 exe: collin mcrae & sebastien loeb
hv even record lap time faster than f1 driver.

I wish Kimi will be thrilled with his new job, loving every single moment driving his rally car. He'll be drifting and making his car flying over bumps and hills.

Now, where can F1 offer such fun??

this is not a step down to Kimi..its good for his experience, skill and knowledge in motor sports not every f1 driver can drove a rally car..take a look at S.Loeb, good on f1 (Testing in Red Bull F1 Cars) and even better in WRC..but why he looks like a red bull f1 driver eh?..hehe..

Nice car and suit.
And kimi looks funny but cute (in a non-gay way)compared to his indifferent F1 looks.

if you guys got a choice to go race in F1 and Rally, which will you pick?
A
Hard choice. I enjoy being behind the wheel in rally but also like the operation of an F1 team

Two different disciplines with their own set of challenges. What's all this preoccupation about F1 being the best ?

Mika Hakkinnen (F1 double world champion) hung up his helmet and went to compete at DTM cars and got his arse kicked for years and years.

I agree with cheapshot, that F1 and WRC are two best thing in world of motorsport!
kimi likes challenges very much! so that he moved to WRC. because WRC more challanging than F1, i think!
so, i'll always support Kimi, wherever he is!
:)
