2011 Porsche Cayenne Accidentally Teased on Porsche Site

Porsche is too big of a company and headed by too many smart people to have made a simple mistake as this so I’m guessing it’s safe to say that Porsche has revealed it’s latest 2011 Cayenne. But the image has since been removed and replaced with the current Cayenne suggesting that a mistake could have happened but it was too late as a keen eyed visitor took screenshots and now the news is buzzing around the world.

It’s not known whether it was deliberate or not but the 2011 Cayenne was also teased in Porsche’s German site in which the Cayenne was in silhouette behind the 911 GT3 R Hybrid race car. Whatever it is, we have WorldCarFans to thank for these images as to whether or not it’s genuine or a hoax, we’ll only find out once we see the real car.

Looks darn awsome.....
I wonder if they will ever come out with an RSR version of the Cayanne.
A version almost ready to actually tackle / compete in Rally Raids.
An evolution of a Trans Siberian version but in clubsport trim....
Hehe.

Or even cooler still a "Rubicon Limited" version of it to tackle the Lion's Back to the trails of the Rubicon. Basically a hard core 4x4 truck that can go rock crawling to takng part in the Rain Forest Challenge.
Can't imagine a PTO driven winch powered by a 5 litre V8 twin turbo. LOL..
Fastests GOD winch on earth..

Dreaming in the office again......

Personally i think stock for stock if one have too much money to blow and couldn't care for body damage i would say the Cayanne would give a good fight to the Defender climbing up an incline.
Probably in cross axle situations it would beat the defender.
Simple reason it offers a rear diff lock package while the Defender after so many donkey year doesn't offer any traction aids until recently when they offered traction control...

Don't get me wrong... if i want to build my ideal offroad rig i still would choose a Landie. Not a Defender but an Range Rover Classic.
