BMW has finally admitted that an M version of its X5 SAV is underway and proof of this comes in the form a video released on the automaker’s bmw-web.tv. The clip doesn’t reveal much about the M spec ‘ute but that was expected.
The video sees Bernd Limmer, an exec at BMW M GmbH discussing the essence of the X5M and the M characteristics that BMW infuses into all of its M models. He then goes into detail on how the different systems interact with each other and then he hits the Nurburgring to show off the X5M abilities and you have to hit play to watch. There’s still no word on when the BMW X5M will make it’s debut.
