Like its predecessor the 307 CC, Peugeot’s new four-seater coupe-cabriolet features a fully automatic retractable roof that can be transformed in 20 seconds. With four full-size seats and a large boot, the new 308 CC might just be the practical choice for drop top fans.
Initially, Peugeot will offer the 308 CC with two engines, a 1.6-liter turbocharged gasoline unit delivering 150Hp and a new 2.0 litre HDi turbo diesel with 140Hp that complies with the stricter Euro 5 emission standards. Both engines are combined with a six-speed manual gearbox or optionally, with an automatic transmission.
The 308 CC is due to be unveiled at the Paris Motor Show before going on sale in early 2009.
