The main objectives of Full Throttle are to promote & create awareness among the public about local automotive industries.

“We are here to promote to our fellow Malaysians about local automotive industries – for example, new car consumers who want accessories for their vehicles right off the showroom floor will be there”, according to Mr. Chong Kia Soon, Project Manager of Full Throttle Autoshow. “We are honored to co-host this event with Majlis Bandaraya Ipoh & well supported by government agencies such as Polis Diraja Malaysia – Daerah Ipoh & Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan (JPJ). This show, although small if compared with international standards, but our large presence of this show is significant to Kinta Valley because it ties into our strategic initiatives to educate the consumers, especially the Perakians about the strength of local automotive industry.”

Full Throttle is divided into 3 different zones; Auto Arena, Auto Show!Down & Auto Salon which includes supports from famous local automotive specialists like Zero4Racing, Monster Garage as well as international brands like Suzuki, Naza, Meguairs, Dyno Dynamics & many more.

Auto Arena is the exclusive area where all motorsport & on-stage activities will be held. The main attractions of this area will be the ‘Show!Down’ Drift Battle & ‘Clash of the Titans’ Dyno Challenge, which claims the honor of being the first & largest exclusive ever in Perak state. The main stage, ‘Pavillion’ sets as the platform for all on-stage activities with MC Slyde (from Red Dragon fame), guest invited DJs & Full Throttle’s very own breakdance tournament ‘Breaks Supremos’-created by the founder of Malaysia Breakdance Championship which targets the young & emerging Gen-X-Y crowds.

Auto Show!Down is the expo zone with participations of SMEs & local automotive traders, most of them from Ipoh itself. The distinctive Auto Salon is the exclusive expo zone, located in the indoor stadium & hosts the AutoSalon-like type of premium exhibitions for mostly corporations.

“From our observations these few years, we saw & will foresee a stronger penetration of motoring demands as well as aftermarket accessories for the modification. Full Throttle will definitely help spotlight this at Full Throttle, being Perak’s largest autoshow,” said Nick Chin, director of Ipoh-based Zero4Racing.

Full Throttle Autoshow is managed by Provice Event Management & Consultancy & co-hosted by Majlis Bandaraya Ipoh. The event is well supported by local authorities of Polis Diraja Malaysia Daerah Ipoh (PRDM), Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan (JPJ), RELA, Jabatan Pertahanan Awam(JPA) & Jabatan Penyelamat dan Bomba Malaysia.
