Remember the French movie, TAXI? If only taxi drivers are crazy enough to modify and transform their cabs to be able to outrun almost all cars on the road. Well, here is a really fast ‘taxi’ – a Corvette Z06. This car was spotted in the recently flagged-off 2008 Gumball 3000 in Florida.
Something similar to the Cannonball, it’s an occasion where millionaire supercar owners and VIPs would have to pay USD120,000 entry fee to drive 3000 miles in ‘themed’ and ‘costumed’ cars during the day, party hard all night long, and do pretty much what they want the rest of the time. Over 100 supercars are currently doing cross-country in the US, before getting on the ferry to Korea, before driving down to Beijing in time to watch the Olympics.
As part of the hype for this annual event, it was staged so that a hot blond hitched a ride in the Z06, then took-off her top as payment to get the ‘ride’ of her life. What a nice life..
