--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The CDA-117Ri is designed for real music fans. It plays all your favourite sources with truly excellent sound quality, thanks to a 24-bit DAC, high-quality parts and advanced sound processing features like Digital Time Correction, Parametric Equaliser, Graphic Equaliser, and Alpine’s exclusive MediaXpander. If you like to fine-tune your system sound, this is the model for you. Digital Time Correction lets you compensate for varying speaker distances so you hear all the channels at the same time. You can also customise the sound with a 7-band graphic EQ, 5-band parametric EQ and High Pass Filter control. In addition, Auto Volume adjusts the volume level according to driving speed and road noise.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There's nothing like the cozy confines of a car to emphasize the thrilling dynamics of surround sound, and Alpine's PXA-H701 audio processor can help you experience the impact of multichannel sound in your vehicle.

The processor features three optical digital inputs, so you can connect each of your digital video sources with just one cable. The processor decodes the Dolby® Digital or DTS® signal from your DVDs and sends it to the external amplifiers that power your front, rear, and center-channel speakers, plus your subwoofer. The PXA-H701 even translates your stereo CDs into vivid multichannel sound.

If you're using the PXA-H701 with a compatible Alpine in-dash DVD player, you can use the player's touchscreen controls to adjust the system. If you're using the processor with an outboard DVD player or a non-Alpine in-dash player, you'll need an optional Alpine controller to make system adjustments.

No center-channel speaker in your car? The processor can create a "phantom" center for you, so you hear the dialog in the middle, where the center channel normally would be. The processor also includes digital time correction, graphic and parametric equalizers, frequency filters, and MediaXpander — sonic enhancement features that help you get your movies and music sounding just right in your vehicle.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Planning on using the Alpine PXA-H701 sound processor with a non-Alpine in-dash stereo? The RUX-C701 module controls all of the processor's functions, allowing you to set your system just the way you want it.

The control module's large rotary knob, button, and 3" display make tweaking your processor much easier. You can adjust equalizer settings, improve the focus of your bass frequencies, change crossover settings to enhance speaker efficiency, and maximize your Dolby® surround settings. You can also engage MediaXpander to fill out your sound, and boost the bass output. The display even gives you a 31-band spectrum analyzer.

You can use the included microphone to apply time correction settings in your vehicle so that information from all your speakers hits your ears at the same time — your music will sound natural and balanced. If you have an Alpine navigation system plugged into the sound processor, you can use this module to set the volume of the voice prompts that are delivered over your speakers.

Installation hardware is included so that you can mount the module in or on your dash or console.
