I do have an original '75-'77 Celica Coupe TA23 GT (Not Clone).

TA23 is a long nose Celica coupe body type.
TA23 is the last production of 1st gen celica (coupe body type).
None TA23 GT or TA35 GT were produced for JDM.
TA23 GT were only for UK market with 2T-G eng (1600cc DOHC twin side draft carb)
TA23 export (other than UK) were ST only. 2T-B eng (1600cc OHV twin down draft carb)
TA23 JDM known as TA35Coupe were LT & ST only. 2T-U eng (1600cc OHV single carb)

My UK spec TA23 GT come with;

- Ori 2T-G eng (1600cc DOHC with Yamaha 88260 head) with ori twin sidedraft carb (mikuni solex 40 phh).
The 2T-G with 88260 head is the best performance eng in 2T-G production eng family
Other best is 2T-G with 88222 head.
- Ori GT interior & exterior trims, badges & emblems.
- Ori factory paint.

Well kept & look a like less then 5 years old car.
No xcdent. No rust.

This TA23 GT is 1 out of 3 units TA23 GT avail in Malaysia, but this TA23 GT is the only 1 still survive with all original factory layout. The other 2 has no more retain the classical originality.

Since it is a GT, it got it own identity & style & unique compare to other A20 or A35 in Malaysia (which most are ST, LT or ET)

Please make ur offer. Tq

Hi All,

I am wanting to convert my wira 1.5 engine (dah nak mampus, don't bother asking me to overhaul) to a MIVEC engine. Problem is, I don't know where to start.. I know I should look around at the potong shops but as a newbie memang they potong me.

I would greatly appreciate if anyone in KK, Sabah who has done this type of conversion (mesti banyak punya) to help me out. Was thinking EVO3 but.. too much power..

Thanks in advance!
