4age Ae111 auto question. What is the function for the menu button next to power button. Any body know?

from my experence, if power button on, shift gear usually at 4k rpm but fuel comsumption very high.

Switch power mode, floor the pedal from standing still and u'll see the shifting is at the red line.......manyak syiok ooooo, like m/t.....but then ur fuel needle also floor hahahah....

Err.. Odd off means gear 3 engagement.. u just remain max at gear 3.. will drop to gear 2 if too slow.. but won't fly off gear 3...

Manual - normal settings.. means u rev till 6 or issit 7krpm it will engage to other gear automatically..when u floor max time la..

Power - 7.5krpm engage to other gears...when u floor max also the times..

usually gear change at around 3-4k..before it reach 5.2krpm whereby VVT opens.. :)


but haha.. aiyer.. itu button.. power? i rather use engagement of gear 2, Odd off then to D(fourth gear)...lagi siok.. coz hahaha!! it can "BOOM" till 8krpm.. :P u will hear all throttle like gathing steel sounds..hahaha!! and one more hints....auto gear number 3.. u can straight hantam habis ur meter..around 180kmph.. no need 4th gear.. but if u play like that.. be sure u have enough rich fuels la.. and ur gearbox dun leaks :P

MENU allow your A/T to shift gear at low rpm (usually below 3000).
At this function, your gear shifted from 1 --> 2 --> 3 --> 4 very fast.
And since your engine is running at low rpm (and low torqye), you won't feel the push at all.
It is a safety feature to prevent your tyre to spin at slipy road condition (ie: snow or heavy rain).

dear all, just want to clarify.. in mine, the 'manu' mode and 'power' mode can both be de-selected (meaning both button unpressed, and meter 'manu' and 'power' led off .. if like this, what mode am i in???

is it supposed to be like that? or must i select either one...
so blur.. can some one explain more on this..?

One more thing , If u push the gear nob to D during stand still situation,steering got vibration or not?

when push "D" during stand-still (traffic light), steering no vibrate.
if got vibrate, i will go back to machine gun tiao sama itu mechanic that

Mine=LE + bt auto
"D" stand still= steering vibrate like mounting koyak when cruising no vibration at all
"N" = a little bit of vibration

b4 u change to BT, ur ori 4afe got any vibration on "D" stand still?

i think ur power steering mounting or bush got prob.. when the vibrate occurs ar, ur engine got vibrate significantly or not? what is ur idling rpm durign "D" stand-still?

if N = around between 850 to 900rpm and sometime drop to 800 then abit vibrate
If D stand still = 800rpm vibration quiet strong.

my idling is quite stable.. always at 900rpm
