Wira 1.5 2005 bad consumption

hi all......i also drive a wira 1.5 which is 3 months old....finished first 3 services....mileage around 12,000 now....the consumption is bad...for rm50-55 i only get about 430-450km of mixed driving....if only town driving then around 320km only.......my old 9 yrs iswara aeroback (engine condemned one) will manage 550-570km for the same rm50-55 mixed driving !!!!!! i am using shell normal....but tried primax & felt very little diff.....i drive in a usual manner & not race or ram the car !!!! I will try tuning & if doesn't work then maybe consider tweeking the exhaust sys......cannot go on like this as i travel a lot !!!!
