Currently I'm using Michelin's PS3 195/50/R15 on my Myvi. I'm currently on GAB's lowering spring with Improve Comfort absorbers. The ride feels ok except for a little bumpiness. I'm now thinking of getting 195/55/R15 on my next change.

It should improve the bumpiness by a little right? Only thing is speedometer will be a little inaccurate and when full load it may scrub?
Yes, 195/55R15 will be more comfortable than 195/50R15. 50 series should have slightly stiffer sidewall.

As for speed reading 195/50 actual reads faster, means if meter shows 100kph, actually you are doing 99kph. For 195/55 will read slower, means meter shows 100, you are doing 102kph. Very small difference to be worried about.

Tyre scrub fender will also depends on your rims offset. If 40 and above should not be a problem, but best is still to test them out first.
However 195/55 tyres are more expensive....

Just a bit bumpy at the moment for me so would like to improve things a little. On rough road, vibrations are quite strong which I think is coming from the tires that couldn't absorb much of the vibration and harshness.

If so then I think I will give 195/55 a try and if not much difference then I can change it back to 195/50 in the future.

You mention above only a little bumpiness therefore 195/55 should be better, unless 195/50 is very bumpy then cannot help....

Too much comfort but not grippy, I don't think I can get used to comfort tires anymore. PS3 is fine with me.
Yup, usually poisoned with high grip tyres, very hard to change to comfort tyres...

By the way, I don't know if I should give Hankook V12 a try or not. Currently I find the PS3 to be quite good overall even when mine is now about 40% left. From a lot of reviews, the V12 will not be so comfortable as it wears down? :hmmmm:

V12Evo also comfortable, some mention due to directional pattern and if wear uneven will be more noisy only... However if PS3 becomes too expensive then V12 can be next choice...

Based on the recent tire price list for 195/55/R15, V12 is about RM240 while PS3 should be able to get it around RM280. For a set of tires, PS3 will cost around RM120 more, which I think should still be within my budget range.

In this case, I should go for PS3 since PS3 as an all-rounder will just be slightly better than the V12 right?

2013 Auto Review Performance Summer Tyre Test | the online tyre guide

Not sure why they use V12 against these heavy weight like Asy2, CSC5, Sportmaxx RT, because should be S1Evo job...:hmmmm:
hen can consider for my kelisa next change on V12. Depending whether the cost of it close to PP2 or not

The Hankook V12Evo 15 inch RM240 is the same price as my 14 inch PP2 if not wrong

I am using PS3 now, it is a good tyre -- best street tyre I have used so far. But it doesn't wear gracefully. I would NOT go for PS3 again. When changing, its going to be GY F1 GSD5.

Back then I got it for RM220 each. 195/50 R15.

GT Radial for 16" only the HPX model as the HPY model starts in 17"
As for brands got many models too.
Arcilles ATR Sports, Sports 2 starts with 17" if not mistaken
Falken ZE-912
Kumho KU-31 Ecsta SPT, KU36 I think do not have in this size
BS - RE-002. Lower no point
Continental - CPC2, not sure the sports (CSC3 above) range have your size

The World Rally Championship (WRC) seemed like it failed to clear the jump following the exit of many works teams from the series a few years back but things are heating up once again on the dirt trails of the WRC.

Word has it that Saab, under new owners Spyker, will be making a return to the twisties of the WRC for the first time sine 1979.
