Anybody tried the Hankook R-S2's??

When i chit chat with the guy at the Hankook booth at KLIMS, i asked him, how do they compare with Neovas. He said, 'if your use to the Neova's, you'll like the R-S2s...' but u know la marketing ppl....

How are they in real life...?? anybody experienced them..??

i have few frens that has tried the hankook rs2. few of them were ad07 users. they said its good for both street and track. its cheaper than the neovas. they took it to the open track sessions and so far it looks good. the thread looks smiliar too.

im still on my neovas. i will get the rs2 once mine are done.

i've used Silverstone semi slicks(4 tarmac rally) n full slicks b4..nothg 2 shout abt...get overheat really fast especially after repeated hard launches....these Toyos i think i was quoted ard RM280 per piece in my place..not too sure..hafta check it again...but mayb dat's my special price..me n d shop's tauke fren2....
i'd consider ST115 1 of d best compromise btween dry n wet performance..better thn AD07 whn it comes 2 wet condition.....but my all time street performance tyres hafta b Falken GRB Tune II.....y lar they stop production?sigh....

Sounds good.. that might be a nice compromise.. just hope the grips are as good as you say they are.

And RE01s are not available in Malaysia.. have to order... like the toyo R888, they are not locally made.

i'm now using toyo trampio vimode n very happy with it. no noise n with better grip but the only disadvantage is its worn out quite fast. i'm using it for 3 month n the thread almost half gone...
but i think that was under heavy usage.. hehe

they said its around 190ish per piece brand new. but then again these are STREET tyres category.

if you wanna get semi-slicks then the list are as per below:
Advan A048
Advan A032R
Toyo Trampio R1R
Toyo R888
Michelin Pilot Cup

cheers
