I unscrewed the nut that hold the steering wheel but just cannot pull it out no matter how hard I pull or hit it with a mallet. I event try to put WD40 and bend the steering wheel with my pulling force. :(

Called 2 workshop near my house and none of them has the tool to take out a stubborn steering wheel.

If any one know any workshop with that tool near Kepong area please do reply. Thanks.

just go buy a puller. 3 legged ones. Cost about 30 buck. Just tighten the centre bolt and this loosen the wheel.

Or try visit workshop. Any workshop has this tool. Have it pulled out with a minimum payment. 3 buck pay ok la.

Dont whack the assembly though as it would damage the steering column. This item is expensive to replace....

then there is advices about using proper tools....

Do not misuse tools. Use the wrong tool could cause accident, and likely to damage the equipment.
Imagine using the wrong size socket.....and one would strip-out the nut, making it harder or impposible to loosened.
