start twice to start cefiro 2.0 2002

dear all expert.

i always need to start twice to get my cefiro's engine start when/ after i off the engine for more then one hour. I wonder if anyone here experience the same problem, as when i check with work shops they said maybe this and maybe that, just don't have a firm solution. I wanna get rid of problem changing or removing good parts in the trial and error process. Your feedback is very much appreciated. Thank you!

bro can xplain more detail bo? u mean start 2 times. 1st &2nd times start engine the sound are they the same?

Bro , i think what he meant was, our ceffie will start on the first cranking , everytime. Second or third time would mean something is not right..

Oh ya, b4 the problem occurs, everytime i wanna start my car, i put my key in the ignition switch, turn it to the "ON" position, wait for the MIL indicator to turn on, then turn it to "Start" position ;hear the starting sound and the engine starts.

But now, at my first key turning to start the engine, no matter how long i held the Ehehehehhhhhh starting sound, it always won't start at my first trial, the second time usually will start smoothly. Anyone have this problem? or maybe have some views to share. Thanks ya!

i used to pump ron 95 on my 4g93, then i must crank twice for the engine to start..after i use ron97, i just crank once nia..

I've just experience engine knock the other day when I pump ron95. It only occurs during a hot day going when uphill after a massive jam! Will not use 95 unless ive no choice. It will damage my VQ engine.

its already state you need premier grade petrol. and Motor Trader also did a test, and only recommend 97 for 3L

If you use 95, more problem will come later.

Ron95 or 92 didn't leave any side effect for me

Yeah , I ve tried not to use 95 but have you noticed that quite a number of petrol stations have 'stock habis' on the 97 ? I was running low on gas during a trip only to find 1 petrol station around and they are selling 95 and diesel only..
