Im hunting for a bodykit for my car and i've seen some come with PU and Fiber. I have no idea what PU stands for and may be Fiber for like Fiber Glass? I am not sure what's the difference between PU and Fiber but it seems PU bodykit is much more expensive than Fiber. Is this true?

Can someone explain what is the difference between PU and fiber to me please. Thanks~

hehe...here i gv sume short explain as im selling bodykits ..malu malu

PU know as Polyurethane ....... it can say that similar to Getah...RUbber.......so it can bend or benkok accordin to the shape of your car body if u wan do some small custam made......but normally it FIXED nicely to your ride...

Good :
1)Easy Install (double sided and Silicon Gam) no drill needed
2)When accident, the skirting wont crack easyly(hard).....
3)98% fitted to your ride...no modification
4)After Spray the surface it nice

Bad :
1)Price abit high
2)cannot add fiber or custom made or attact fiber
3)more heavy

FIber...know as fiber glass.....abit similar to plastik or carbon fiber........not the carbon fiber laa..similar abit laa...it cannot be bend...coz will crack....

Good:
1) price cheaper
2) can be custom made or modification
3) lighten

Bad:
1) After Spray the surface may hv WAVE ...depend on the painter skill also
2) cucuk lubang
3) it can be crack if u kick it using your leg (bad when accident)

PU is stronger and Fiber is fragile ... Fiber is lighter but PU is heavier hehe ..

if it is for normal use then go PU ...if for racing or track onli go for fiber ..
