oh...means going to the absorber shop in senawang. the coilovers in my car boot waiting to be serviced leh. see he want to do for me or not. :D

Iswara 1.5 auto to manual conversion
Anybody had any experience with Iswara 1.5 auto to manual conversion before?
How much for everything inclusive of labour? If it's around RM1k, I'm
thinking of asking my parents to let me convert my Iswara to a manual.
And, frankly, I don't mind breaking my own piggy bank to do it.
I'm sick of the stupid auto gearbox.

The F5M21 would probably cost you RM 200 to 350 , its cheaper to get the gearbox from forumers as they sell it alot cheaper , and then a new set of clutch & bearing would be about RM 150 , and you need to get your self a flywheel , clutch pedal & cable .
Installation would be about RM 150 to 200 depending on the workshop .

RM 700 excluding the flywheel, clutch pedal and cable. Isn't the clutch cable and pedal included when u purchase the clutch?
And, I think I need a new brake pedal also rite? Plus a new gear lever, will the gearbox come with leveR?
Clutch assembly meaning the clutch cover , clutch disk and bearing is only included , as for clutch pedal , gearbox linkage , & lever u have to purchase saparately . Go to kedai potong got alot , its not that expensive , probably rusted , but can respray it back .
Maybe less then that , just go to those workshop and ask for the total price . If its cheaper then 1k , then good for you , if not get the essential parts first , then look for a cheaper workmanship

I nearly got one when my sis' 3-speeder was deemed as failing months back. Luckily 'twas not the GB problem, but some other things.
I was quoted for nearly RM1k at that time. Not bad la for a 4-speeder with OD and its own ECU (As what I was told la)

Saw a mitsu supertouring, nicely done, plate number: WBB or WBE, sporting 15" EVO 1 rims, with the merc-lookalike front grille. The one you mentioned kot.

This is actually more out of curiousity. I'm still inclined to convert to manual. :D

about the gearbox thingy, is it THAT cheap? i have a wira 1.3 recon unit in my car, and it cost RM550 plus installation and that's just it. no changing of clutchplate except a relube and reoil the gearbox....
