What i mean is, you can utilize this ecu,PROTECH-II.
For example, many stock ecu have a idle problem, like when air-con active, when deceleration or breaking.(Due to modify on blow off valve,BOV,because Mitsubishi air flow system is a "CLOSE BOX" system, air flow which is built in front of turbo, like Nissan Skyline.
Those who drive on Mistsubishi, there have to clean up or tune the throttle body for a few day and the problem start again.
Well, this ecu,PROTECH-II, can tune the ISC valve, like cold start, air-con....
Please go and visit my small web site,www.geocities.com/ecupro
The picture is PROTECH-I, goto righ, then, look for "LINKER". This linker is a wire to connect between PROTECH and STOCK WIRE, and just work like PLUG and PLAY,PnP.
More stories will come up.... or e-mail me to : [email protected] for fast return mail!. For time being...Bye now....

Well, please check with others men....
We are talking on STAND ALONE ecu...NOT PIGGY PACK like E-.....
It is better to stay with STOCK ECU because it is cheap from junkyard, price from RM100.00 to RM200.00
Daniel, OPEN the "GATE", i am in trouble ( he..he..he please visit same site, TOYOTA forum )

Normality78, normally, the price is around RM 2500.00, depend on the dealer or agent, and off couse, the workmen ship, the tune equitment they use ( at least, A/F Meter, norrow band kah or wide band kah )

Erictoh, for Hoda civic 2004, you better stay with the original ecu due to high tech auto gear management, E-throttle (drive by wire ). You can try on MOTEC 8000, for myself, i thing will be E-......

140db, what system or ecu you are running on, you need 1.5 bar map sensor.
This map sensor is built for on board, 6 pins, yes, is 5volt when max boost. Off couse, you can put it on the small box , almost look like ext. map sensor..By the way, what car you are driving?

mr protech sifu,

hi,
im using emanage to tune my 4g13 turbo

i plan to substitute the TPS input on emanage for a MAP sensor, as the TPS accepts 0-5V input and can map ign vs rpm, sub injector vs rpm. emanage wont know what it is provided its 0-5V...but then u knew that oledi didnt u

6 pin MAP???? damn...i tought most map sensor are 3 pin....power, ground and output.....what the other 3 pin for man?? pls educate...TQ

Normality78, 2 of your friend that kept on have problem, what ecu they are using?

140db, this map is 6 pins, 1 for 5v, 1 for ground, 1 for output, the other three, you can forget it.

Don't you have "engine llight" come on when you have boost for your stock ecu.

Yes, you can use map sensor ( vacume to 0.00 psi or 0.00 bar is 0.7 v to 2.2v and from 0.00 bar to 1.2 bar is 2.2v to 5.0v ). Depend on the model of the map sensor.

Daihatsu Mira, Yes, Made in Malaysia, Ipoh ( design PCB, soldering, software and firmware, NOT GROUP OF ENGINEERs, only one stupid guy to do all jobs )
Some people give me a name, PROF. ( White hair grow on top of my head, he..he..he, Age...very old,46 )

Arrrrrrr....getting old....

Erictoh, those ecu that build in gear or transmition management,( City,Civic,Vios....), you can forget it to put programable ecu( Most prog. ecu no gear management build in ) accept like MOTEC 8000. Arrrrrrr.....one thing, E-Throttle also.
Nowsday, new engine come with E-Throttle ( drive by wire ), unless have to modify it , and change the auto-gear to MANUAL-gear.
In order to save your time and problem( A lot...), well for myself, i prefer E-.....

Bye every body....stay tune in.....
