The Obit was designed to allow you to tune ANY engine. Signals are modified on maps found within the units and with windows software. Installation and tuning is simple and once installed the engine can be retuned by anyone with a laptop and the tuning software. An average installation consists of connecting 6 wires to the vehicles original wiring loom, changing the settings of the unit in the setup section of the tuning software and you are ready to retune the car. It has been found that an experienced installer can install an Obit unit within 30 minutes.

All piggy-back units are reliant on the exiting ECU to provide the fuel and ignition to the engine. For this reason they are bound by the limitations of the existing ECU. Fuel is typically modified by changing the load sensor or lambda sensor signal. Ignition is done by delaying or advancing the crank angle sensors signal. The piggy-back unit tricks the ECU into thinking that it is running under different conditions thereby allowing for a different output.

tkoonhong: bro,it's like HKS F-CON, Only authorised dealer have the tuning software for besure the piggyback is tuning in the right way to get the best performance of the car. OBIT is famous for tune the proton gen-2 in GEN-2 club singapore.

HKS-GT2835R: Bro, the tuning and installation by Turbo Sang in K.L is only RM400.

notaracer: OBIT was known that can tune the Supercharge satria GTI with siemens ecu by Turbo Sang, there have 1 issue of Hypertune was features it before. So no worry to use it.

tuning service consist of 1 setting or unlimited setting??
what i mean is setting can be stored to suit the driving style, so if i want to change to another setting can i simply change the map setting or must i go to ur workshop??

from the article i read stated that OBIT 2 is the supplement for OBIT 1....
is this mean i need to have OBIT 1 before i can install OBIT 2??
i'm asking for OBIT 2 because it can control boost setting and a lot of attractive setting is in OBIT 2.....

Price RM600 is for used unit. Unit is talking from on the road car, and also most of the electronic products like camcon piggyback ecu is no warranty even we brought brand new in shop. So there have NO WARRANTY in the used unit of OBIT. But it's proven the unit is working. I have sold a unit of OBIT to 0-100 member from penang before and no problem on the unit.
