Nissan Terrano, are the worth to buy?

hi guys, just doing a research for my friend who wants to buy a BIG car....his
options are the Toyota Unser (putting in a 1G supercharge engine), or a Terrano (putting in a RB engine), so is the Terrano a good car to own? if don't change the engine, will the standard 2.4 engine give any problems?

if change engine.. i dunno lar.. i used to drive the terrano 2.4cc petrol.power is good and doesn't give any problem.. but the fuel consumption really kills since it's petrol. i would prefer 4wd diesel turbo..

well, many agreed on the diesel turbo opinion (i posted a same thread in lowyat.net to get more feedbacks), but some say it is very underpowered 'cause it's a very heavy car.
