A new Managing Director comes rolling in for Goodyear Malaysia and she is none other than Ivy Peng who now replaces Encik Zakariah Ahmad.

<!--more-->Ivy Peng’s role will now encompass the overseeing of the company’s growth, direction and strategy execution for Goodyear Malaysia, to which she expresses in her excitement, “Goodyear is one of the very few industries with such a long heritage. It is definitely an honor and a great opportunity to be leading this great company.”

As Goodyear Malaysia’s Sales Director for the last two and a half-year, Peng has been well-known for her skills and strengths; especially in people management and her ability to carry out market driven strategies, having spent 2 years in Singapore leading the business model transformation in ASEAN.

“We are extremely pleased to appoint Ivy Peng as she brings with her a rich experience having had a broad exposure in the consumer goods industry, managing a diverse mix of businesses and people throughout her esteemed career. She will be an asset to both our board of directors and our company,” said Paul Cadena, Managing Director, Goodyear ASEAN.



She successfully worked with her team in each country to meet and sustain market leadership position. Previously, she also headed Kodak Malaysia as General Manager and Vice President of ServTouch-Wywy (M) Sdn. Bhd.

“It’s also a privilege to be working with a team with such strong dedication and passion for the company,” Peng added.

Peng has 25 years of experience in the consumer goods industry and she was also nominated for the 2007 Kodak Jane Lanpher Legacy award which honors women in the company and was also named the Top 3 women leaders in Kodak Worldwide.
