yup,the non vvt-i twin turbo is old version... the single turbo vvt-i is new version will cost 6k++ anyway u jz need the new version,rite???

1jz vvti turbo halfcut difficult to find........one of my fren in JB got 1 chaser manual halfcut but pricey......8k+.......... KL normally i found engine only no halfcut...... 1 altezza already fitted with 1JZ twin turbo.....power is good.......

Btw, can any 1 tell me wut's the difference between twin turbo and single turbo + VVTI? Also, chaser half cut or supra half cut, or are they the same?:regular_smile:

Hey bretbaby, 1JZ-GTE got 2 versions 1 is single turbo + VVTI and another 1 is twin turbo but no VVTI...so which version is yours? Is it from a chaser halfcut or soarer halfcut? manual or auto? Got Intercooler, fuel pump and etc or not? Thanks:regular_smile:

3sge: Is your altezza manual with the 6 speed ? if its not then you will have to find a 1jz manual halfcut which is hard to find , i took a few months , auto soarers are availble anywhere for about 2k plus but the gearbox wont match the altezza , nomally for your car i think the soarer halfcut with the r154 gearbox will fit well or if you can find the 6 speed altezza box j160 i think.

theres also alot of problems like , clutch pedals and so on , and ecu as well.

And also the 1jz vvti are in the chasers and soarers (1996) onwards , the other vvti is the 2jz which i have only seen once in msia .

no, is a 5speed tiptronic auto...auto soarers with vvti cost 2k? are u sure? the 1 i saw in motortrader cost 6k++ already...wut do u mean by soarer halfcut with r154 gearbox can fit but auto soarers gearbox cannot fit? Soarers got many difference gearboxs ah? Wut's wrong with the ecu...halfcut ecu cannot fit in? Thanks:regular_smile:
