Very bright LEDs. It is clear when light off.
It is hard to miss detonation signal.
Dimension: 65mm x 50mm x 20mm (L x B x H) exact dimension may vary.
Weight is ~100g

SENSOR IS NOT INCLUDED.

Customers use sensors:
Knock Sensor for Audi & VW OEM# 0 261-231-038, KS16 ;
Honda #30530-PV1-A01;

You can prevent damage of your engine by monitoring detonation signal. It appear if air-fuel mixture is wrong for some conditions. This gauge monitor detonation at begin. So you have some time to react and save your engine. That gauge work with noise signal at unique frequency. Detonation of most car is near to same frequency. That mean that this gauge fit to all car. If you are unsure in it do not hesitate to ask me about it.
Very useful in race condition where no time to look at other gauges (EGT, A/F and etc.). It could be mounted straight on wheel or dashboard or anywhere where driver could see that gauge. you do not need to focus sight to gauge to see what result shown by gauge. When detonation appear you will see very bright led light on. Led brightness is bigger then stop signal of some car. You couldn't miss that signal.
You can choose other combination of led color of green, blue, yellow, orange, red. (detonation signal RED ONLY).

Analog output is optional. It cost 20USD in addition. You can use output of gauge as input to your ECU to manage ignition or fuel if you ECU has AUX input. Also possible to use with some retarder or ignition controller.
Options for output:
1. As switch to ground;
2. As switch to +12V;
3.As 0v + 5v output;
Let me know if you need output.

Troubleshooting:
1. Q: Gauge is connected to sensor and power supply. One green LED lights on only. Engine running at idle or accelerated. No more LEDs lights on in additions.
A: Check first green led when accelerating. It must change brightness. If not then check wire connection of sensor. Especially ground connection of sensor. Resistivity of it must be lower then 100Oms.

2. Q: Gauge not work at all.
A: Gauge is tested twice before shipping. First time after assembly, second time after fitting in to plastic box. It is impossible that gauge is damaged in post system if plastic box is OK. Check wire connection. Or it possible that your OEM knock system not compatible with this gauge. Try to use separate knock sensor.
