now kelisa compression ratio is 10.0:1
if u make compression ratio to 11.0:1 or 11.5:1, its high compression
the 1.6mivec and 1.6vtec type-r are high compression

making your piston high compression will only make your hp come earlier, it doesn't increase it unless your have cam or dvvt

dvvt (EJ-VE) is 10.5 though

if bolt on, the highest u can boost is 0.5 bar... higher than tat u need 2 do something 2 ur internal... wah nowadays a lot of ppl interested in bolt on arh...

if change the piston to compression ratio of 8.0:1 to 9.0:1,
can the boost reach to 1.0?
what are the other internal must change?

please help me, give information :D

everyone talkabout bolt-on turbo, have anyone figure out whether this will burst a volcano hole on your wallet!! :D

why ah?? bold-on need lot's of money after that?? such as for what use?? me planning to do so within this 3 months if the cash is enough..

10k ? that amount can transplant GSR liao lur... bolt on should cost abt 3-4k ler from what i know.

Wa so cheap ah? can tell us which bolt on turbo u done ah, and all the setup, tell the shop name alsola, so we can refer uma if we wanna do any bolt on!

yes the whole set of bolt on is around 3-4 k nia..but the maintainance will cost u a bomb.not really worth it to bolt on on our current 3 cyl engine..to me,i rather get a 660 4 cyl L9 engine..wit whole full set of turbo n wirings all those..

Bolt-on turbo should cost around 3-4k.Maintenance is the only thing that you have to worry about.DJgErM is right.Better to get a 4 cylinder L9 engine.

A 3 cylinder engine will always remain a 3 cylinder engine. The only thing u would feel is the turbo is its bolted on.Transplant that L9 sucka!

yalor...the FC is better summo...on top of that u'll have a very good pickup...cos no matter how,a 3cyl can't give so much power as the 4cyl can provide...the L9 is very worth spending on.Theres one taikor named abundai,he was the few people who put,it was fantastic..

if u wanna bolt on, drop me a PM. i have a friend who has a workshop for it. probably can get u a good offer.
