No point for a V6 either as they have already got a better alternative in their famed straight 6s.
ha yeah but the famed Inline sixes in production now don't have an NA-spec pushing 100bhp+ per liter. It's not just power but packaging too. A V6 is shorter than an inline 6 so keeping more of the weigh between the axle.

i agree on the more power to move more weight "problem" that car face today.

The first M3 E30 had 200+bhp, E36 had 300+ and now we are facing a 400 + bhp

Too bad making power is cheap compared to making cars lighter.

n the future m3 must get 500+ bhp.. haha..
btw.. i think it will be a bettle of E90 M3, RS4 and C63.. haha.. it will be fun to watch.. :X

I've never been a believer of camshafts not because I think they're funny, only because I own an auto car. To make it worse - I'm driving a 3-speed auto. So anything that affects my low end is generally a bad thing for me since my gear ratios are ridiculously tall.

What does that mean? It means camshafts are for people who want to improve their mid to highend power. Or so I thought...
