In Malaysia it call Optra. 1.6A or 1.8A. Not too bad. 10k km service 1 time, about RM120 for oil and filter. Ori brake pad (front and rear) = RM5xx . Timing belt can be done outside for RM8xx or choose the ori package for RM16xx. Water pump about RM3xx. No major problem so far (58k+ km). New one not sure due to the promotion may go on or already finished. Used 2003 1.8A is about RM40+k. Fuel consumption is like perdana v6.

yes, lacetti is actually optra.

They were selling year 2005 stock or something like that for about RM60k a while back. Not sure if they still have it.
