Anyone can give me info about mivec engines which one better, how many types of mivec, how mod better for my wira aeroback... wanna buy mivec engine soon ... huuhuhu any one give suggestion and advice plz.. i know many pro here..
 
there is 4 type...mivec silvertop,mivec silvertop md,mivec blacktop,mivec blacktop md...md can save more fuel...
 
which one the best ? or just same performance..?
 
actually i just converted to a mivec ck for my wira a.b .... me at sarawak... ck mean terbalik model..... nid mod mounting...... here i can do coz malaysia boleh 'u know i know la' :proud: for ur guys saying wat silvertop and blacktop mivec .. i not really know since we here now all left those out since ck model is much more newer as compared to those... parts are different also....... throttle size, oil rail and etc....... for md and non md mode, power are considred all same except md save more fuel..... but actually, got experience, using a mivec 1.8 non md(ori 1.6L cc hybrid gsr 1.8 block) , rm10 still can go for 70km+- .... if u cant mod mounting, i prefer u choose blacktop mivec rs which they say gud....... i know only terbalik model but for others i not much can help........ prepare 10k for the conversion since mivec nowadays damn expensive...... if u use for normal driving and more at jamming city,go for tiptronic or auto.. but remember to use gud quality AT oil,service well and install an AT oil cooler if can... if not when the gearbox gt problem might cost another few k..... if for racing purpose, of course manual since the gearbox ratio is really gud.......can drag.. lol

if u'r looking 4 performance, stay away from the mivec-md. just take a normal one.
 
Mivec head rite now in the market is very expensive...:hmmmm:
very responsive engine if combine gsr 1.8 turbo together with mivec head! :proud:
 
what ive seen previously :

1.8 mivec : 190hp - microtech LT10s, dyno dynamics

1.8 4g93 : 202hp - microtech, agressive 308deg cams, dyno dynamics

both were tuned by the same tuner, joshua thiran of millennium motorsport asia. the 4g93 produces more torque in the lower revv, much faster on the road imo.

plus, wit the price for mivec head nowadays, i prefer to get the 316 cams jer, senang sket
 
agree... tried ori mivec 1.6 and after combine with gsr block 1.8.........big big different in power
 
for me, i'll choose 4g93 over 4g92mivec as it got a lot torque at lower rpm. Sumore, if u compare the on wheel power stock to stock there is not very much different but the 93 is a lot cheaper. I'm using light-mod 4g93 and have test so many time with light-mod 4g92mivec that's why i know. But 4g93+mivec head is difference story.
 
0.75metal gasket, drop in knn, pnp, n retard cam by using stock pulley. Im not sure how my mech doing this. how many degree he adjust. everythings else, stock include exhaust pipe.
