i tot i m the one who is uneducated but it seems like 'someone' is also the same. i can dyno the car anytime but then how am i going to compare it ? with what ?
and dont tell to change the oil to mineral for first run and change back to motul for the second run. I m not that silly enough to do this. We r tuner not entertainer. you want a dyno chart plz go get it yourself.

i m here to give to good news bcoz we r happy with the oil performance. If u r still not happy with the answer plz go buy the motul oil from other outlet and try it yourself, as i said i m not a entertainer and i dont entertain unpotential customer.

u can use two car without the same oil..then u can prove that ur oil is better then the other brand...usually when a new product is been introduce to the market...u need to convince the customer that ur product really works...u cannot just say that ur product is good and call the customer to go to ur shop and see it..u should produce a relevant documentation and result of the product...then only ur customer will know..u cannot just simply say that ur product is good... :P

just my opinion.... :P

I am a new user to this forum. Just to share....I've change the oil and it works as what they claim. there is a very significant improvement especially when i cruise wit 5th gear, now i need not downshift to get more power to overtake on federal.

I was previously using caltex full syntentic 5w30. Rm 160 for 3 liters. Their answer to me is for an extra rm20 what modification can you do to gain this extra power? To what i see you guys are comparing this motul with normal or semi-syntentic. You can compare an apple with an orange. What you pay is what you get.

P.S. Their demo car is super.Standard looks but .....

actually if u wishing or planning to try the new product, u should believe or take out 40% or even 50% confident. i understand the buyer will pay the money, but let say RM180 is not a big amount (one weekend may spend more than that :D ), If the price is RM1800, then may u need to think so many times before u buy it. Even we r not asking Motul oil supplier to prove this to prove that. We r more risky then u guys because we need to pay a lot. The name of Motul is well known in motorsport i.e Car & motorcycle. The name of motul is a goodwill, then we will give it at least 50% of trust. the following step we try the oil n see how good is it. To get more proven, this time we should let customer try n get more feedbacks. for example if u need to buy toda cam, do u think can every customer request for testing or proving from the japanese? use two cars or dyno is not the best way to prove the oil. dont tell me when u drive few mins or when dyno the power increase, then this is the proven the oil is good. unless some ppl who suggest dyno n may be he got other intention :) Anyway........ as long as no harm... u can give a try...... B)

for me i guess paying RM150 for the motul oil is quite expensive since we are going to change the oil every 5000km or 7000km...for shorter time its ok..but for long term..i feel that is a waste of money...(by the way with the RM150 i can spend for 2 weeks..money hard to find lar :D )

go ahead and dyno since u said how can a uneducated person know how to calculate this kind of thing?

..................................................................................................................

Well let me share my 2 cents worth of experience ( well to be exact 13years of experience ) as a lecturer in Automotive Engineering ( ex Federal Institute of Tech and now Singapore Polytechnic )....

NO 2 cars off the production , will have an exact horsepower figure . If you take 2 cars off the showroom and dynotest I can assaure that both the cars will log different results. So dyno is not an option to test the oil or judge an oils performance.

The correct way to measure an oil is by the friction test. And by using a higher grade engine oil, the engine ( pistons moving up and down , in laymans term) during the combustion process will have less friction and naturally the cars engine will be smoother all the way up to the car's max performance , hence you will feel the car is more powerfull.

Also when you hit the peak power graph ( torque peaks ) a lower viscocity engine oil will have less friction and the engine will feel less strain compares to normal mineral oil.

So in the real world, have you seen any racing cars ( ie Le Mans,F1 ) using mineral oils off the shelf ??? If there is no difference between a good quality engine oil and normal mineral oils .... so why are they using the higher grade oils instead of the lower grade engine oils ?

Well just my 2 cents worth of experience ........

PS . Well regarding engine oil towards an engine, you will learn more if you take up Automotive Engineering Foundation Studies

Everybody dont fight.

WKAUTECH is a nice person. ET5828 is a nice person too.

This engine oil is good. Not only it gives you more mid-range torque, smoother revving to 6K, it also helps your fuel consumption-GURANTEED.

Normally, I do 158km on RM25.00 fuel, now I can clock 195km on the same amount of fuel.(City Drive) ie I gain about RM2.00 mileage(roughly la) So, for 7000km, I would have gain a worth of about RM88.00 Not bad eh....

Your engine oil is expensive(admit it), but it will give a user relatively RM88.00/oil change over mineral oil. So, net, you will spend about RM100.00 for this wonderful oil. For RM100.00, you will gain the driving pleasures everytime you accelerate the pedal.

Mineral oil is much cheaper, but your engine will not run as efficient as this Motul.

This is just my comment as a Motul 300V user. :)

to me performance figures never do tell anything...i am more worried about FC and engine health ... i previously tried ELF with Molybdenum...some Amway product...it was not what i expected for the price i paid for...as i say again i never ask for performance increase...by around 3k++ my fuel consumption droped heavily...this i suspect is not due to more heavier accelerating or anything...but more of the oil getting degraded...

now assuming Perodua Semi-Syn oil is at RM40 and Motul 300V is at RM180...it should at least last 3 times as long as P2 oil right...but that makes no sense as Fully-Syn only last around 10k KMs...but could the oil last as long as 10k KMs??? i tried changing oil at 2k++ KMs...P2 oil still seems quite transparent at that point although a bit darkish...
