the small ar no will reduce lag and the respon will come sooner than the bigger one but the bigger ar will give you higher hp than the small one...if the ar too small it will make your engine 'chocked' at the high rpm....anyway how high the hp you try to archieve?

mellon..give us more details on how you plan to build your car..street ? drag ? what turbo you using now ? what sort of lag is acceptable in your terms ? what other hardware you have in your car to match 35r ?

sdfthe car will be built for wkend/drag purpose not going to daily drive it, now i m running on b20vtec standard sleeve with T04E 57trim....planning on achieving 500-600whp on vtec turbo build block n will be running on ITR cam and 84mm bore ....hoping tat boost will come in around 4k-5k...

sdf ?? gt35..gt3540..gt3540r..gt3582r..gt3586r all the gt35 series what and which is the best ... for my car 4g64 my rev range 9500rpm...please nead some advice.:wavey:

i tink wrong range bro, the 57trim would go till 600hp , 500hp also nop
but u may reach there with maybe a strong built engine , with high compression and race fuel :P

57trim are honda ppls fav turbo in the US , 4-5k sure full boost with .63 t3 turbine housing

but for honda... do they need so low rpm to kickin boost? well they got the ability to whack till 9000rpm or even 10k rpm....if me.. i mean me la... i will make sure it will kick all the way till shifting therefore i might opt for a turbo that kick in 5.5k rpm onwards

Gt 42 edi up for sale checked it out at marketplace guys...veiwing before buying is really apreciate..:listen:

guys.... if use GT35r i believe by hook or crook u have to use forged internal to withstand the power am i right guys??
if in case like my setup is 2.2l crank with vr4 rod and vg30 87mm piston. what turbo should be good or can this gt35r be planted in my car...
hopefully i don't blow my engine into peaces :nurse:

any suggestion guys

go on with the gt35r...you will have no problem with your setup, many of them out there using same setup as you and use gt35r...the rule for not damaging your engine is never over-rev and over boost..do u use any piggy back or ems?

i have a hks fcon-v, but i am thinking of putting a microtech or megasquid management is this new set up is gona take place, so gt35r wont blow my internals away...as u know they are not forged materials??

mellon : go for a GT35R with 0.82, you should get full boost by 4.5k rpm

havoc : same answer, go for 0.82. a good and solid built engine with a well tuned management won't blow your engine to pieces.
