guys.. how to detect / syndrom when our existing fuel pump 'kong' already?..

got sound/vibration/fuel lean/ difficult to start/ or anything?..

coz i had difficulties starting engine when its hot.. 3x only can start.. mech said its teh fuel pump 'kong'..

Sometimes it may not be your fuel pump.... it could just be the fuel pump relay or something as simple a a fuse... a lot of people get conned due to this....

once, i thought my fuel pump kong, stuck at home, wet over to a nearby machenic and asked him to check my car at home.... he came, said fuel pump kong and quoted me RM400.00. I did'nt like the way he talked, all lansee one. So i call AAM. The AAM guy came to my house, tested fuel pump direct using car battery, he said Fuel pump OK. Checked my fuel pump relay. It had burned. RM80.00 only.

He told me a lot of mechanics make quick money this way. Replace your pump for no reason, fix relay or something, you get smacked with a big bill and they get a working fuel pump for their next victim.....

but mine is still working .. onli said to be not 100% condition.. going to be kong ler.. but still.. i felt that nothing wrong with it..

walbro buy from the net ler,

you can consider power 255lph. using it and no sound oso (walbro makes these pump for the Power company)

WALBRO is many times stronger and more reliable over SARD..

we've seen some of the SARD's fail and cease pumping..

walbro high pressure pump got sound one ^^; if it makes you feel better, mine oso got sound. can get used to it one no worries, i am more afraid of not hearing that whine one day

sometimes I still hear that whine even when the engine is switched off... haih <_<

But can con people ... car like got external fuel pump. We need to get together for some sound comparison. Maybe an orchestra of walbro pumps :P

you can try sard 210lph , they are same size a walbro ,
