Scuderia Ferrari’s Formula One driver Felipe Massa greeted Shell V-Power customers today at a Shell filling station in Sepang, Malaysia.

<!--more-->To coincide with the 2012 Malaysian Formula One Grand Prix, lucky Shell V-Power customers were in a for a treat when stopping at their local Shell filling station this morning to refuel their cars. Massa turned pump attendant when he dutifully filled up the Ferrari Fans’ cars with Shell V-Power road fuel.

Three lucky competition winners were also given the opportunity to meet the racing star, and went home with memorabilia signed by the Brazilian.

“It’s great to meet fans on a day like this. Shell works extremely hard with Ferrari to develop Shell V-Power for Formula One cars, so it’s great to see the benefit it has for everyday road fuels,” said Felipe Massa, Scuderia Ferrari driver.

“This has been a fantastic day for Shell Malaysia. We have taken our successful and long-standing technical partnership with Ferrari and created a memorable experience for Shell V-Power customers, including the golden opportunity for Meeting Felipe Massa. Shell’s technical partnership with Ferrari is one driven by success, and together this partnership has enabled shell to develop a world-class road fuel, Shell V-Power,” Said Christine Liew, Head of Retail Marketing, Singapore, Hong Kong and Brunei.

Shell V-Power road fuel is practically 99% similar to the Shell V-Power race fuel being used by Ferrari for the 2012 Formula One World Championship and is designed to enhance engine power and responsiveness by cleaning power-stealing deposits from the valves and injection system inside an engine. It also actively reduces friction by introducing a surface coating component to protect critical engine parts and unlock valuable energy.

Shell V-Power Unleaded contains Friction Modification Technology which is designed to help deliver more power from the first fill and is the same as they used by Scuderia Ferrari Formula One cars.

Guys,

I'm looking to get a SR16VE NEO VVL engine. I hear that there's a few variations and the one I'm looking at is from the N15 Pulsar.

Now, with that said, there's 2 version of NEO from the N15 Pulsar body.

SR16VE NEO and SR16VE NEO Autech Version. The Autech version comes in the Pulsar SR-V VZ-R edition.

Whats the difference as far as the engine and the mechanical point of view?

I know there's an extra sticker on the cylinder head cover and the gauge has Autech Japan...
