we're on the same boat, I wanted the evo 7 :banghead:

same goes for the Toyota wish, they brought in the CKD model the last time.

Not RX-7 bro? Or mix up the 7?

Is it? I didnt know they brought in Wish. Thought it was all recons. :banghead:

rx7 need rm70k cash, at least evo7 still can loan 50-60%.

Lai lai, RX-8.

I kinda like the Honda S2000 though. But price is crazy above 100K mark. Even more costly than Supra and many other performance car.

S2000 got more refinements. Mmmm. The interior and everything looks super good.

RX-8 gonna burn more than 1 hole in your pocket. Might be the entire pocket also gone.
rather go for RX-7.

RX-7 is the same. And if the previous owner took care of the oiling, it will not be a problem.
Got a friend went to 150,000 without fail, then sold it.

RV did come into mind when I bought my China SUV. At RM80k vs CRV of RM150k. In 5 years time the CRV will be RM70k and my China SUV can be zero value for all I care....hahaha
Then again I need to take RM60k loan only but for CRV I will need to take RM130k loan....:smokin:
Anyway bottom line, have to live within my means.....:driver:

Yes, because some people they plan to change car in 3-5 years which is why most of such consumer will try to buy a car with good resale value, Say Toyota Vios and Altis. Vios has more demand though. Unless we are talking about buying cars like FT-86, Subaru or any cars we like that we don't plan to change at all. That we don't see resale value. Daily car, most ppl will look at resale value.

Why? Example. I want to sell a car that I still owe the bank RM30K but I only manage to sell it at RM25K. End up. I'm selling the car with losses. I have to fork up the RM5K myself when selling the car. Which is why Resale value is quite important if you don't plan to keep the car for more than 3-5 years. Even if I want to sell my Jetta, I don't make a loss and still got some extra earnings from there. Say my car already 9 years old. All loans paid. If I sell, I still get back RM45K cash.

Proton especially those go for maximum loan, they are gonna forget about selling it. They make a huge gap of losses there.

Previa brought in by UMW bro. So, can service in UMW. I believe spareparts shops will have the parts as well since it was brought in by UMW. Not by grey imports or recon bro.

Well, if a car is good and you liked it a lot, probably no need to sell it in 3-5 years. For those who don't bother much and just want a newer and better car, then probably they need to focus on RV.

Around 2-3yrs ago there was a white 1st gen S2000 on sale for under rm90k. Was quite tempted to buy but since it's a 2 seater, I didn't go for it (the wife also did not agree!).

Usually is always the case. I think we guys have to buy or all of us share to buy 1 big empty warehouse to store our beloved ride. Buy an empty space with high security. Park our dream cars there. Wife will never know we bought our RX-7, Evo 9, R34, Supra, NSX, Altezza, S2000 and etcs.

:top:

shit.. I think I've been online too long. I read that as "Weekend ah moi magnet". Weekend amoi! HAHAHAHA

Because you have been doing spyshots for too long. You only see what you want to see, focus on what you want to focus.

So end up you only read what you want to read

Ya the only common reason why selling RX-8 is when it is problematic already.

He scared dy then faster sell. But no problem.
Most cases are previous owner didn't take car of the oiling. U also know the oiling of rotaries la.
Then passed on to second owner at 70,000 km. Then time to fail dy.

Wife has decided on Alza Advanced Edition. Deposit going down soon.

As for me I'm waiting to end of year for bonus to throw into a better list of cars to choose from :P
