I'm askin on behalf of a friend who's drivin wira auto...when the engine is cold(ie after start engine),the gear doesnt shift until when the revving is till 5k.The car seems to be draggin plus feels like no power. But after the engine has warmed up, it's back to normal. It only seems to happen when after just starting up the car. According to one mech, he said gearbox problem. So to make sure askin all ZTH cifus first.TQ.

i think wira's auto transmission is like tat one.. regarding it has only 3 speed so when de engine is cold needs more power to shift to next gear..

it could be the auto gear clutch....yes; auto also got clutch.

My car although not wira also got the same problem; but it's more than 10 years d. I got to step on it; then depressed a liitle bit to get the gear to shift. If I don't; than it will get to 4-5k rpm before auto shifting.

After I changed my engine oil also the same thing.......so suspecting is clutch.......so anyone else could verify that??

Bro, it's 100% sure gearbox problem... In my case,

When starting in the morning, put to D, no gear masuk, have to put to L, then it engage 1st gear, run in L then shift to 2, 10% chance can engage to 2nd gear(for a few minutes or a few seconds), if not, the gear like shift back to N although you're in 2, have to slow down and shift back to L, repeat process or leave it in L until about 10 minutes until the gearbox warm up then ok...

I changed my gearbox, bro, your gearbox can RIP (Rest in Pieces as spare parts), auto tranny is very complicated and hardly fixed, mine sent to the mechy 2 times still cannot, even his shop is known as a auto tranny saviour... LoL, he reccomend me to change the whole gearbox, now ok2 liao...

fyi : My ride is a Wira 1.6

Mostly likely a failed pump. This one have to replace entire gearbox. M-Scope can fix any auto gearbox. I'm sending my spare to them for overhaul.

its torque converter inside alright.

it has multiple wet clutch inside like the one used in motor kapchai.

and most probably has burned. the oil pump is built internally and fixed because they would never failed - unless of course run without any ATF inside. otherwise, they are lubricated and no reason what so ever to fail.
