Marc,all i can see underneath is scratches and rubbing..hahahaha.. lots of cutting and removing of the plastic cover underneath...

Anyway,anybody here ever tried cams from 'jasma'?? kinda tempted to try it out... cheap though...hrmmm
And also is it advisable to be using polyurethane bushing? As i have heard,it can be quite hard after a while,making the ride more harsh.. But im thinking of changing my steering rack bushing using polyurethane... Should not be a problem right?

ahaha what do you mean? im using the pu bush bro. its good. my bush used to break very often =.= now okay d =) and less than 100 =) but can get like 60 i think? check on mudah.my

A friend was using PU bushing before. Initially it was superb. But after 3-4 months,he found out that it became to harsh.Ride comfort gone. It might last longer but at the expense of comfort. Suspension and arm bushings etc,i might just stick to original. But since my steering rack bushings is already worn, i was considering using PU bushings for that...

Hello guys!

It's been awhile.. Anyone know bout the diffrence between 4g91 and 4g92 dohc (non mivec) cam? I know that 4g93 have higher lift.. But what bout 4g92 dohc?

hi again..i check my plug....if i pull out the 1st n 2nd cable the engine will get weaker..but when i pull the 3rd n 4th cable out when the engine is on but there is no effect to the engine..i think the 3rd n 4th cylinder is not working..but all the cable produce electric shock n i just change all new plug..im using 4g91 carb..what is the problem?

Bez,not sure if there's any difference. Im using 93 cams though..
Ram,have you check the distributor? And the plug cables?

Guys,

I opened my rocker arm cover and discover that.. My 4g92 cam..(non mivec) have these marking.. Intake cam= D.. Exhaust cam=E...
It's totaly diffrent.. The Ex cam degree is the same with 4g93 NA.. While the In cam degree is the same as 4g93T.. Wierd spec for 4g92 (non mivec)..

Ram, what bout ur coil? Check plug cables, distributor.. Mine last time have distributor problem... no 3 and no 2 cylinder not firing.. But mine was a fuel injection.. Mayb u shud check urs 1st..

Hrmm,..im not sure if it works on our engines,but i have heard about some B18C-R using B16B cams on the intake and B18C-R on the exhaust... If im not mistaken,the intake of the B16B is slightly higher then the ori B18C-R.. Im not sure if it applies on 4G9X as well..did consider trying to mix and match 93 cams on intake, and maintain 91 cams on the exhaust... But never actually got to do it..
Owhh,so the marking for 92 non mivec is D... Good to know that.. hehehe..

Ram,manage to fix your problem yet?

hi guys..am using 91 on my saga89',injection..hv not done any major or minor mod..only add the ficd for the aircond bla bla bla bla..(duno hw to say it)..standard 91 engine...only clutch plate change when install engine last yr..erm,GB is 1.8 mirage one..the 522 one..duno wut car actually..pomen say mirage,i say ok lor..but surely it end wit 522 code one..(read on previous forum last time)..ratio is ok..ohya..use clutch pump n fuel pump(i mean the pedal one..i use pump)n fuel tank pump i use outside one,frm mercedes..(d sound mai kong lah..mmg noisy)pipping 1.8(as recommended on forum)..can't use open pod AF as i hv no space in d bay(dun wan to put battery at d back)..extractor not change yet..
And nw i feel like i wana upgrade my 91..
1)wut shud i do in d 1st place??
2)recently my friend wana let go his performance part..(hi cams,n so on)>>>shud i???he say he wana pencen..
3)shud i get safc @ eManage 1st??
4)wut shud 1 do??

yeah...u can use other car air flow sensor...to me,it doesnt make any huge diff if ur car is stock...becoz wat is important is more air goin in,if same amount of air goin in,no point changin the sensor.so unless u have done major mods and u gonna get more air comin in(forced induction,upgraded TB or Intake)dun think it's necessary.maybe wil Fuel Consumption will increase too and idling gone haywire.

y dun u start with ur intake and exhaust 1st if u wanna go step by step becoz tats what is simple and kinda cheap. if u want high power increase,then why not,get ur friends stuff if its cheap. e-manage is more useful if u have done a few modification(air filter,exhaust upgrade not included).stock engine if tuned wit e-manage of course,i dare to say will have hp and tq increase but minimum. if fully wanna utilised the e-manage and at the same time extract the most out of ur mods...then its ok to install it.

guys my car engine its already leaking here n there..so i decided to change it since the engine its quite old..im using 4g13 now..so i tot wanna buy 4g91 head n blok..can i juz plug n play with 4g13??

i sent it to workshop...they try check the cable, distributor, plug n they in working oorder..so they try to check whether the gasket is torn n there are air flow between the two valve..but still the same problem..now i think they doing top overhoul..maybe that should cure the problem..

Miez,..do as what Mitec mention,and start from there. About E-manage,yeah doubt it help much if it is mostly stock.. Btw,what kind of cams is your friend using? How much is he selling it for? tempted to try..hahha
Heretic,should not be a problem..direct installation..Btw,what car are you using? Wira,Satria should be the same..Iswara,read somewhere might need a bit of mods on the engine mounting..
Ram,hope that will finally cure the problem..Since they have check everything..Fingers cross...

BTW,any using 92 mivec pistons in our 91? Rebore the block? is it any good..Wana change 93 block,need to replace timing belt.. So,might just wana maintain the original block..

No, you cant mix and match airflow sensor as different sensor gives different metering. The ECU has been programmed for what A/F sensor its suppose to use. Unless you have means to compensate for the difference like doing a remap or piggiback, do not attempt it. Running rich will kill your pocket for fuel, running too lean then you can wave bye2 to your engine.

The reason you cant get it to start is because the ECU is from a putra (based your post before). The ECU wiring is not compatible, some wire switch would do the magic.

On the mivec piston, A few guys have tried it on here. Definately get a tune afterwards.

hi ACQ..ma fren wana let go this cams frm PZ..not sure hw mch pwr will increase..but,can tapau mivec la..o something like dat la..btw,he wana let it go for 1.5k..inc adj cam pulley frm Works..those pwerful cable plug(dunno wut brand) and oso d rest of his performance part..head of his 91 is all chrome..he celup it 4 layer 8 d cost of rm450..non kabur2 wan..sure kilat2 smpai bila2..he wana let go 250..then,his 15" enkei,with newly used potenza RE11(front) n newly used bridgestone RE001(rear) for 1.2k..exedy 3 puck rcg clutch ori frm japan rm500..

ohya..got one 'barang panas' frm naughty2 kids..someone wana letgo SAFC2 for 650..ngam ka dat price??would it be messy alike if i put all those stuff in one time???
i mean,safc..hi cams..gud extractor..or if u guys hv any gud suggestions??

Jaw,owhhh..wiring is different? But heard some say that it is possible. Maybe that that ECU is different and not compatible with my 91..yeap,ECU from a putra...

Miez,..hrmm..powerzone cams? Not so sure about those,cause a friend did get himself a set for his waja campro,but kinda of a failure..Was really disappointed with it.Seller inform that plug and play, no need for any tuning etc.Installed,tappet sound worst then a 20 year old diesel engine..hahaha Power,felt like a 1.0 with one miss firing plug..adjusted the cams here an there, after 3 days,gave up, took it off and return it..But if it seems to work on your friends engine,hrmmmmm...why not? hehehehe...
Get it all from your friend...since you know how his ride feels like... :burnout:
