i am driving a old saga running on stock 1.3 4g13
i was thinking on larger capacity engine upgrade due to my power hungry need
yes i am aware of 4g6series and 4g9series or a 4g15 with 4g18 or campro stroker kit but due to the ridiculous price nowdays its not ticking my fancy of having 1
so while i look around i found out there this 4g37 1.8 coded engine which is used in mitsubishi galant/super touring e12 chasis using carburator system that were not famous in malaysia but in us there were few people playing with it
i figure the engine should be cheap since no one wanted it
so my question is
1)does the mounting are the same with 4g1series :stupid:
2)does the bell housing can fit my f5mb221 vrbe gearbox ? :stupid:
3)does any 1 know whats the market price of the engine ? :stupid:
my list of target is
1)running side draft dcoe carb
2)maybe 120 horses on n/a
3)custom regrind cam , full exhaust system
any advise or opinion are greatly appreciated
