Hi

I have problems with my car. i am using toyota SEG 4a-FE enjin, and i swapped my stock injector which has 2 tiny nozzle at the tip of the injector with toyota altis 1.8 injector which has 12 tiny nozzle. When i compared the size of the nozzle, the toyota altis has much smaller size of the nozzle compared with the stock ones but the toyota altis injector has 12 nozzle meanwhile the stock one have only 2. I also change my MAP sensor with toyota camry 2.0

The problem is, when i start the engine when it is cold, the rpm is slightly low around 500-900 rpm. usually, it must be a bit high like 1000-2000 rpm since the mixture is rich during cold engine right?

Then when i start driving, when it is low rpm- between 1000-5000 rpm, i can feel the difference in terms of the smoothness and a bit of pick up, but when i start to full throttle, my enjin starts to jerk and cannot go further. My car is auto transmission, so when i full throttle, it seems hard to change the transmission. It will jerk at 5500 rpm to 6000 rpm n after around 2 seconds then it will change gear, but once change gear, the performance drop. But if i dont full throttle, like driving in the city or highway, i slowly press the pedal, there is no jerkin. I maintain at 1000-4000 rpm even though i am at the fourth gear, there is no problem in it.

Is it because the fuel doesnt have much pressure to support the engine when i full throttle? because the nozzle of the altis injector is smaller than the original one? Or is it the ecu needs to be tuned back to get the best fuel pressure. I am not sure about this. I tried to swap the altis injector to viva or kelisa, it works great but in my 4A-FE, i am not satisfied.

Does anyone know the standard resistance of the toyota altis injector. From my research, my stock injector resistance is 14,8 ohms since it is NA, i think this should not be a problem if i swap to altis injector right? Or is it that the altis injector could not fit in my 4A-FE because it is meant to be for the vvti version.

Can anyone give me advice in this matter? thanks

Does any of you gents here know of a e28 Specialist workshop. One that does engine swaps and fabrication for suspensions, differentials, engine balancing, turbo fitment etc especially on E28's.
