Idemitsu extreme 10w-50 is also good if you ask me. on track, off track same same.

GB now using castrol. heavier, but less 'crunch' sound when shifting if use motul.

One thing I've been unable to notice: the difference of performance between different brands of 5w-40 ................ i suspect brand name vs performance is partly psychological.

I'm running 5w-50 myself. used to use both 5w-40 and 0w-50 ........ all ok for the engine

There's performance difference and it ranges from one engine oil to another like some u'll feel only minimal diff. and some of it u can feel quite significant. I experienced it last time with my previous dc2, when i changed to Selenia racing oil, there were significant difference in performance. Haven't tried on dc5 yet. I heard also Torco and Eneos good for k20a.

Hi ALL SIFU,
I owned a Mitsubishi AIRTREK Turbo 2.0.

I have questions and need a guide. As I planned with my mechanic to rebuild the engine with 2JZ pistons, crankshaft 2.2L, and pistons rod, maybe the rod going to use the PAJERO piston rod.

In addition, I'm installing refurbished TD05HR, EVO 7 Tomei exhaust extractor, camshafts the three taken out from EVO 7 G-TA. Plus, Mishimoto EVO 7 Universal performance intercooler.

Since this is my project car before I proceed with it, can any of...
