Honda Civic Type R Gets Green-Light!

The Honda Civic Type R has been given the green-light by Honda, which will be announced at the Paris Motor Show this September, 2012 with a preview of it coming in a year’s time at the Geneva Motor Show.

<!--more-->There’s not much being said about what’s going under the hood for the next Type R, except for speculation that it could be getting a smaller displacement turbo mill to replace their high-revving NA VTEC one for the purpose of meeting emissions standards, or perhaps it will simply be getting an engine update for their current mill.

It’s not certain just yet as to what we’ll be getting, since the recent unveiling of the new Honda Civic here in Malaysia, and it will be some time before we even get whiff of higher performance specifications for it – if it’s coming. But one thing is for certain, as with most Type Rs found here, it’ll certainly be a hot find to have and to hold and be merry!

i have a 4g13 carburetor car inside my Lmst, i found out the distributor is having problem cause engine jerk when AC on, rightnow intend to buy a new unit,question is can i use wira 1.6 model of distributor put it inside my 4g13 carburetor engine?if next time i want to convert my carburetor system to efi,can the carburetor model of distributor to be use in efi system without need to change?
