Club Logo: Calling all budding/closet artists!

Dear Skyliners,

As we have put up a good effort in moving towards making an this the official club for Malaysian Skyliners, the submission to the Registrar of Societies would require us to have a club logo.

Those talented be it artists or budding/closet artists are encouraged to submit his/her designs via this thread. Please include the explanation/meaning of the logo as well.

Then we would be choosing the official club logo (perhaps by virtue number of likes..?) for submission to the ROS.

The owner/designer/creator of the logo will of course get credit for his/her efforts.

The logo must be accompanied with an explanation on the use of pictures and colours. IIRC, certain colours/combinations not allowed. Club Secretary should provide guidance on this issue.

On separate note, Rev-Junkies also designing a few logos for us no obligations.

The submission is in Malay and therefore Kelab Pemilik Nissan Skyline which should translate to Nissan Skyline Owners Club. The Committee has decided to drop the word Malaysia and proceed with ROS application as a Pertubuhan Tanpa Cawangan for now.

Don't worry too much about it bro. The fact that she's helping is fantastic already. Please make sure you thank her on behalf of everyone here. I'm sure the Committee will consider all designs and appreciate the effort.

This is a design by our member Sudut. It's literally a Nismo-like design with either black or white background incorporating the Nissan Skyline Owners Club initials NSOC.

Ok guys, here are the other Nissan related Clubs already registered with the ROS:

1) Kelab Pemilik Berdaftar Nissan Grand Livina Malaysia (Nissan Grand Livina Owners Register Club, Selangor
2) Kelab Permotoran Kereta Nissan Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur
3) Persatuan Pemilik Kereta Nissan, Kuala Lumpur

I think their logos would already be very similar to what NISMO's logo looks like so how about we try and be original and try to be different? Also, bear in mind that whatever colors, shapes etc used in the design of the logo has to justified in writing (eg: blue color used stands for etc etc).

Hi everyone, I attached here a picture that I took from the original Skyline emblem and make it into a digital form. This is not my design I just made very minor changes to it only.

Since the name of the club is Nissan Skyline Owner's Club not specific to GTRs only so I think the use of a logo that fits all model of Skyline is more suitable. With this a GTR, GTT or GTS could bear this logo and would not look out of place.

Why I choose to use the original emblem of Skyline is because the logo itself is pretty symbolic. A look at it and immediately people will know that's a Skyline emblem...I hope so...I retain the originality of the logo by not making any changes to it's shape because itself is already a pretty nice logo and it has a nostalgic feeling to it.

On the colour side, I change to white for the diamond shape and red for the word "S" which the original emblem is also in red. The red white combination symbolizes the flag colour of Japan which where the skyline came from.

This logo is also pretty easy to be made into a sticker or sew to the club T-Shirt if there are in the future.
