bro just go for as 12" subbie , a 4 channel , and a component...forget

about the 6x9.....people only use 6x9's if they dont plan to use subs , cos
they can pump out a lil bit of bass...but since u gettin a sub , just get a sllightly
bigger one and ditch the 6x9's..u wont regret it. The 6x9's dont sound good

wooo...ajak me also....L15 ar....i wan.....

btw...4 very simple setup....use a 4chn amp...2chn 4 the front n bridge the other 2 to drive a sub...i think using a big ported enclosure will help as it increases the efficiency of the sub wit less power compared 2 sealed...

basis 4 me is compoment front 6.5, rear 6x9 don't use it and sure sub must use lol. But the compoment set must use the good quality one plus the sub too.

hmmmm...

4 channel amp is like this:
2 ch for comps (left right)
2 ch for sub (make sure the amp can do bridging)

to me, i'd rather run another 2 ch amp or a monoblock. so...
4 ch amp (no front/rear amps):
2 ch runs my mid
2 ch runs my tweets

2 ch amp (mono) to run my sub.

today's HU got a lot of function and preouts. use them and then upgrade to proper RCA. ;)

If you're not into heavy techno head banging music; I'd suggest you invest in a CD head unit with at least 60W X 4 with build in EQ and time alighment. Then use a bass tube with build in powered amplifier, get a set of component speaker within your budget for the front and a normal 6" 2 way speaker for the rear. With some good tuning at the head unit you have got your self quite a respectable 'smart' ICE setup.

You don't need a 500W rms amp to drive 1 12" sub at 2 ohm. If your 4 ch amp is capable maybe can run the rear channel in tri mode with the single 12" sub or run the front/rear speakers on 2 ch and bridge the rear for the 12" sub. A lot of possibilities depending on your hardware.

what about 5 channel amps, are they good in some way? since it's one off no need to run 2 amps.

1 12" dvc sub
1 4ch amp
1 x-over
3350mp

i m finding a amp that can produce 500W rms...who can offer me??
will upgrade the component set 1 by 1..but now looking for the sub amp first..any suggestion?
budget quite low..around 500..
two channel for front comp.

two channels bridge for ur DVC running 4ohm? or amp capable for 2ohm(bridge)?

or one channel to one voice coil...

Get alot of ideas from this thread, lucky i nv spend any money on my stock rear speakers, shud i disable them?or juz leave it?
you can leave 'em as they is and just disconnect their cables or pull them out entirely.

as for 5 channel amp, if you're getting the front/rear + 1 mono can wor. My friend running one in his EG and now he having headaches coz his mids could not take the heat of his sub... ha ha ha...

i would say, plan your way. don't overload your amp. why people like to go for seperate amps (especially their sub woofers) is because of the heat factor. loading everything into one amp is ok and your amp will be a bbq grill  later on that day.

so think wise of your journey. ICE is never a short journey, if you wish to choose the easy path as vader did and suffer the consiquences you will but then again... YOU DON'T KNOW THE POWER OF THE DARK SIDE

yes..it is possible...
u attach ur amp below ur passenger seat..then use a speaker wire to lay to ur boot, and the woofer put in the boot..if next time u wan to put something big, u can just take out the woofer and wrap the woofer wire..that's wat ppl do..

btw, i do provide the installation service..and i got a 10" woofer to sell..if u dun mind u can try it, i sell it cheap to u..if u wan to find a amp for this 10" woofer, i also can get for u cheap..

Dear all bro~

Just wan to make a comparison, lets forget about the value for money or potential of the engine, i just wan to have a 300ps daily driven tiny wira. If turbocharge a mivec with after market internal part and a decent ball bearing turbo and standalone as well is it still lose to a stock internal evoIII with some minor mods and touched 300ps? This will help me to make final decision whether i should wait for a evo or go for mivec turbocharge.

Thanks!!
