The A35's were longer and had flat nose, they also housed bigger engines (the 18R & 20R)

this celica 1st gen is really rare, and looks very cool. loves the rear lamps and the rear boot. friend of mine says it has the sexiest butt among all generation of celica.

RERider, care to elaborate more of your monster project?

I think they mostly install the 1UZ - FE family of engines:hmmmm: from Lexus Soarer

Hey guys thank you all for your kind words. Have to learn alot from you guys. This is my 1st retro-old school project.
The one I have is not the hatchback version, hard to convert it to Mustang look.
At the moment I just plan to do wide arch and body restoration. Body work needs adding metal and rewelding. Still long way to go...

As for the engine transplant, V8 is my 1st choice, 2nd is Rotary 13B turbo or 13B NA webber. What's you opinion?
