I think it can bore to 83mm because normally saw on magazine almost all is wrote 83mm piston. But I personally saw few people who did it, found all is facing reliable issue.

For you to run 83mm safely without much issues, re-sleeving is a must. Sure you can rebore the block without any re-sleeving but then it will be VERY thin.

before u bore ur engine, u have to make sure ur engine block is VERY healthy...
better use on 7A block for better respond..
since spend money on bore the engine, why not try on 7A?

you can put on Internet. Hehe. As ae101wong said if your mech do not know how to modify it will got many problems. I can't say that my mech very well in modify this but at least he done few 7A with or without oversized piston without any complain including mine.

Random Post Every 5 Minutes

recently i overhauled my 4g93t gsr rs. I replace a few thing
1. rebore from 81.0 to 81.5,
2. my standard piston ratio is 9.1:1 for the new piston is 8.9:1.
3. I also replace the head gasket from o.8 to 1.5mm.
4. fuel injector from 390 to 450cc
5. throttle body up grade to evo 111
6. fit an afc
my problem is when i put the afc little bit lean my exhaust manifold will red hot but if i put little bit rich it will be sluggish

need some help :smokin::banghead:
i have been using this...
