Is the factory fitted HID approved by JPJ???? Help!!!!!!!!
Yup, or else how could the car be approved for sales in Malaysia?
Those annoying HID's are converts from regular halogen headlamps to HID, coupled with mis-matched reflector lens and not adjusting the beam correctly.

I have not heard of any aftermarket HID's which is JPJ approved. There had been disputes between some forum members and JPJ on the sales of HID's but not approved for road use.

The OEM HID's are rated at 4000k +/- which is the brightest in term of light (lumens). Anything above 6000k indicate a significant drop of lumens. They are normally for looks (ie. 8000k - blueish), 10000k (purplish) etc ... Personally for safety, nothing above 5000k is the best ...
