Not rear mid, V10 engine...

As far as I know, 911, Cayman and Boxster all rear engine with flat 6 boxer if I am not mistaken.

Furthermore, Carrera GT is only available in manual transmission which made it even more difficult to control. But the person who was driving it was a race car driver...

Cayman & Boxster are mid-ship. Usually only those with engine located behind the rear-axle is considered as RR.

Yesteryear supercars are hard to tame & unfortunately, crap happened.

During those days, controlling supercars was all about skills. Raw power from engine is directly transferred. No ABS, Traction control and all that. Whoever that can handle those are really someone who is skillful not just some random rich millionaire or billionaire.

Evo X is 4WD car, sure stable.

Yeah, Carrera GT all manual. Must be real difficult to control like those Ford GT, Murcielago manual, Viper manual, Corvette manual, etc..

I believe the Murcie base line model is 4WD, so pretty driveable (compared to the other). It pales in terms of reputation compared to it's older brother, the Diablo.

That 1 is just another nincompoop.

Actually w/o any electronic aids is fun when u're driving/sliding casually at B-road  given that u've truly understood your car's characteristic.

My cousin's friend turn right then suddenly flick to the left and went thru a ditch.
4WD ain't easy to drive as it sounds. Cars with powers are mmg hard to drive de la.

Saw a car passed by after few seconds after the crash...but is weird that the car did not stop to even help? Could it be the car at fault?
Like coming out from a junction or so? It was fast forward but then...could be the most less than a min after the crash that the car passed by.

Of course not god, no car is perfect. Just that 4WD have better traction than RWD and FWD but it doesn't mean absolute traction.

I believe the Murcie base line model is 4WD, so pretty driveable (compared to the other). It pales in terms of reputation compared to it's older brother, the Diablo.
Diablo got RWD and 4WD.

Still will have driver's error....:driver:
Yeah, remember last year's case where 2 R35 crashed at Kuantan? And I remember that early this year, there is a case of a 911 Turbo who crashed into a tree near Gurney at Penang and killed the driver.

But the Carrera GT is very widely known to be especially difficult handling car. As commented by the Top Gear review, even the Stig also was having a tough time nailing a fast lap. When it was still newly introduced, there was a story of a journalist from one of US popular car magazine who indeed crashed it during a press meeting!

The 911 GT2 is another one which has such a notorious reputation that the nickname is 'the widow maker'!
