The Competition Package will be priced at USD 5,500 (RM 24,153) for the M3 and M4 Coupe, and USD 5,000 (RM 21,958) for the M4 Convertible. The Competition Package does not only focus on the power boost for the cars as it also includes upgrades on the handling, styling features, as well as the equipment.

The 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged straight six is among the focus of this upgrade as the blokes at the BMW M division had tinkered with it to squeeze out another 19-horsepower, bringing the output up from 425-horsepower to 444-horsepower. This increase had shaved 0.1 seconds from its zerotohundred time regardless of transmission.

Also comes with the package is the specially tuned Adaptive M Suspension with new springs, dampers, and anti-roll bars. BMW has reconfigured the driving modes (Comfort, Sport and Sport+), and the Active M Differential on the rear axle and the Dynamic Stability Control has been tweaked as well.

On the outside, the exhaust system has been swapped with one from M Sports with black chrome pipes, and parts like the kidney grilles, side gills and model badge on the boot lid are given a black finish. The Competition Package also adds lightweight M sports seats with extra support and seatbelts with BMW M stripes woven on them.
