When the Jaguar Project 7 was revealed at last year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, it was under the impression that the car will only be a one-off concept and is not going to reach the production lines. But it seems that Jaguar has other plans with this gorgeous concept and they had decided to put it into a limited-production run of 250 units.

Scheduled to make an appearance at the upcoming Goodwood Festival of Speed, the Jaguar F-Type Project 7 is the first Jaguar performance car to have come from the Jaguar Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations team.

And the great thing is that Jaguar has kept most of the concept’s form and it will look like how it was presented last year. The only big difference from the concept is that it has a passenger seat, whereas the concept was just a single seater. The production version will still retain the roadster body that pays tribute to the Jaguar D-Type that had won Le Mans three times.

Jaguar also said that the F-Type Project 7 is the fastest and most powerful Jaguar ever built, where the supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine pushes out 567-horsepower and 501 lb-ft of torque. The all-aluminium body brings the car’s weigh down to 1,585kg, giving it a zerotohundred dash in 3.9 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 300km/h.
