Sooner or later, cars like the BMW M6 Gran Coupe will catch the attention of tuners around and turning them into faster machines than before. PP-Performance has had a go with this four-door German sedan and the results are, simply put, pretty amazing.
Focusing the modifications on increasing the output, the 4.4-liter V8 power plant is given bespoke downpipes, BMC racing filters, an Akrapovic titanium exhaust system and some tweaks on the electronics. These modifications are more than enough in bumping up the M6 Gran Coupe’s original 560-horsepower and 680Nm of torque to 800-horsepower and 950 Nm of torque.
With such power hike, this bright green German is able reach a top speed of 328km/h, compared to the electronically limited 250km/h top speed of the stock car and 305km/h with the optional M Driver’s Package. The zerotohundred time is not being mentioned, but surely it will do better than the normal M6 Gran Coupe’s 4.2 seconds.
