Celebrating their 60th anniversary in North America, Ferrari had just unveiled their new tribute model to mark this special occasion. While this new F60 America is basically an F12 Berlinetta in a fancy dress, the absence of the roof really gives this limited-run model a stunning look.

Unveiled at an anniversary celebration gala dinner in Beverly Hills, only 10 examples of the F60 America will be produced, with each of them bearing a price tag of USD 3.2 million (RM 10.43 million). The design of the F60 is pretty much a summary of the two most popular options among Ferrari customers in the United States, which are a V12 engine and an open-top design.

This sleek looking machine takes the shape of the F12 and turns it into something more interesting. Available only in the classic North American Racing Team livery, the F60 comes with a unique 60th anniversary Prancing Horse on the wheel arches and the transmission tunnel inside the cabin. While the car does have a roof, there is no roof mechanism to operate the light fabric top which is safe to use at speeds up to 120km/h only.

Under the hood is the same 6.3-liter V12 engine found in the Berlinetta, mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission that sends the power to the rear wheels. The output is rated at 730-horsepower at 8,500rpm and 508 lb-ft of torque at 6,000rpm that could launch the F60 from zerotohundred in just 3.1 seconds.
