Infiniti coming to Malaysia: September 2011 – G37 to rival Lexus?

Very soon, the Infiniti G37 will give the current luxury executives available in Malaysia, namely Lexus, BMW, Mercedes a good run for their money. The imported Infiniti luxury brand models will start penetrating the Malaysian market by September this year and should compete fairly well locally, after all, Infiniti has been the fasted-growing brand in the US last year while expanding rapidly worldwide. Recent inception includes Jakarta, Mexico, Australia and Singapore.

If you haven’t already know of the Infiniti brand, think Lexus and Toyota. The Infiniti range will largely be based on premium Nissans but thoroughly and luxuriously remodeled inside and out.

The Infiniti range will be made available through the Infiniti Centre operated by Inspired Motor Sdn. Bhd., a joint venture between Edaran Tan Chong Motor (ETCM) and Auto Dunia which will be strategically located in Kuala Lumpur.

Specifics has yet to be annouced, but the Infiniti models will comprise of sport crossovers, sports coupes and performance sedans. It’s not hard to guess, but the Infiniti G37 should prove to be their best selling product locally.
