EVO Puts Porsche’s Claim To The Test With Rally Legend François Delecour: Is The New GT3RS Really Race Ready?

EVO UK recently put Porsche’s claim that the “new GT3RS is race-ready” to the test and to do that they sent Chris Harris to meet rally legend François Delecour and put the GT3RS through some WRC stages. His conclusion is what’s really interesting, you got to watch it and also check out the change in intensity in Delecour’s face after they turn off the electronics, nice.

Great video.

Havent heard of Delecour in a while. Was a champion in his own right back then.

Don't understand though, does the video prove that the new GT3RS is race ready right out of the box as Porsche claims it to be?

Well Walter Rohrl will be racing a stock GT3RS at the Nurburgring 24-hour endurance race. Guess we'll really find out then, hope it doesn't go up in smoke like a certain L*-A.

I was especially more interested in Harris. I mean i've seen how big his eyes go, but in this video it seems like dishpan size!!! hahaha

even if the porshe could enter wrc, the engine have to be downgraded as wrc car are only restricted to 300hp right? so the turbo have to be restricted.

btw they quit using mr and rr in rallying as its not as fast as 4wd car and ff cars.
